Bibliotrack is a book cataloguing app for iOS, developed by Douai Abbey. This page explains how the app itself handles your information — separately from our main website, whose own data and cookie practices are covered by our general Privacy Policy.

🔒  In short: Bibliotrack collects nothing at all. There are no accounts, no servers, and no analytics. Everything you add stays on your own device.

What Data We Collect

Bibliotrack does not collect any personal data whatsoever. The app has no way of identifying you or knowing anything about your library.

All data you enter — your books, shelves, tags, ratings, notes and loan records — is stored exclusively on your device.

Internet Access

Bibliotrack makes one type of network request: when you scan a barcode or search manually, the app queries the Google Books API to look up book information (title, author, cover image, and so on).

iCloud & Backups

Bibliotrack does not use iCloud sync. Your library data may be included in your device's standard iCloud or iTunes backup if you have those enabled — but this is controlled entirely by you and Apple, not by Bibliotrack.

Third Parties

We do not share any data with third parties. We do not use advertising networks, analytics services, crash reporting tools, or any other third-party SDKs that might collect data about you or your usage.

Children's Privacy

Bibliotrack does not collect data from anyone, including children. The app is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is ever updated, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. We will never introduce data collection practices without updating this policy first.
