The sheep seem to take the vigil of All Fools as if it were 1 April itself. It transpires that the quads that seemed to have been born to us yesterday were in fact twin sets of twins, born nearly simultaneously and in close proximity. One mother suffered immense confusion, and the contagion spread from sheep to shepherds. Luckily the mismothering was brief and the morning sunshine today revealed the twin sets of twins with their respective mothers, all having fed and survived a windy night. The previous adoption offer is off!
