New Appointments & First Honey

» The first new community appointments by Abbot Paul have been announced. Fr Geoffrey has been appointed as Parish Priest of Alcester, succeeding Abbot Paul. Fr Geoffrey will remain as Librarian and Archivist for the monastery. From 1 September Fr Gabriel will become the claustral prior in succession to Fr Benjamin. Taking Fr Gabriel's place as Parish Priest of Woolhampton will be Fr Alban. Fr Gabriel will also become Novice Master, assisted by Br Simon as Zelator.
» The first bottling of honey from the community's hives has taken place. Frs Benjamin and Gabriel (below) display a sample of the harvest.
» Otherwise things go quietly in the holiday heat.
