» Last week the scaffolding in thre abbey church, erected to enable the repairs to the windows, began to be dismantled. It is hoped that in a week or so the community will be restored to full use of the church.

» Also last week seminarians from Allen Hall, the seminary for Westminster and other dioceses, were at Douai on retreat.

» On 4 June the Abbot President met with the Regimen, his council, at Douai.

» The Douai Society Dinner was held at the Naval and Military Club on 7 June. Attending from the community were Frs Abbot, Boniface and Godric.
