Douai Abbey: The Monastery of St Edmund, King & Martyr
Published by HSK in News · 30 August 2015
» On Friday our retreat came to a successful conclusion. Fr Paul Murray OP from Rome proved to be an excellent retreat master, and covered an interesting selection of topics. There were some fascinating insights from his personal experience with Bl Teresa of Calcutta. With the close of the retreat the mission fathers and our guests for the retreat all went home to resume, like us, the normal round of life.

» This month Fr Anthony Robbie from the archdiocese of Sydney will be staying with us, seeking some peace and quiet to complete his doctoral thesis.

» Fr Terence has made significant improvement at Duchess of Kent Hospice, and it is even possible he might return to the monastery soon. Please keep him in your prayers.
