Douai Abbey: The Monastery of St Edmund, King & Martyr
Published by HSK in News · 4 August 2016
» On Tuesday night before Compline Br Justin was granted by Fr Abbot the first of three perseverances that mark progress in the novitiate journey.

» This weekend monks will be thin on the ground as several of the brethren will be helping out the wider Church: Fr Abbot will be saying Masses in our former parishes of Bedlington and Morpeth in Northumberland, Fr Alban will be supplying in Jersey, Fr Oliver in Andover and Fr Hugh in Basingstoke.

» It is a quiet week this week with no resident guests until Friday when a large group will be staying in the guesthouse before the community closes the guesthouse for a summer break.
