» Fr Alban is up north visiting his father, Don, who has been hospitalized. After much deliberation doctors have decided that Don Hood must have two significant operations in coming days. Please keep Don in your prayers at this time.

» A few days earlier Fr Alban and Fr Hugh had been to Farleigh prep school to hear pre-Easter confessions. Today Fr Benjamin will be at Thatcham hearing first confessions. Fr Peter will be giving a day retreat at St Luke's, Theale. Meanwhile also this weekend Frs Gervase and Oliver, and Br Simon, will be giving talks to visiting groups.

» During the past week Fr Finbar made the journey to Ampleforth to represent the Douai at the funeral of Abbot Patrick Barry. At Abbot Patrick's death, aged 98, he was the oldest member of the English Congregation. Requiescat in pace.
