» The community holiday period ends on Sunday night when the monastic community's annual retreat begins. Our retreat master this year is Fr Philip Endean SJ. During the coming week please try to keep in mind our need for reletive freedom from distraction and postpone any contact until next Friday afternoon.

» Tomorrow Fr Alban returns from Stanbrook Abbey where he has been leading the sisters in their own annual retreat.

» During the holiday period Fr Paul assumed the position of Parish Priest of Alcester having now largely finished his work in Rome. The community thanks Fr Andrew Berry OSB of Belmont for caring for the parish since late last year.

» Fr Oliver's mother, Anne, has been in poor health recently, necessitating frequent stays with her by Fr Oliver. Please keep her in your prayers.

» A couple of weeks ago the official portrait of Abbot Geoffrey arrived. The artist is Alan Flood. In time it will go on display near the other abbatial and prioral portraits.
