» It is a busy tme of year for the community. Along wth the retreat programme in full swing, the brethren are busy with a range of activities both home and away. Yesterday Fr Oliver represented the community at the 800th celebrations of the Dominican Order at Westminster Cathedral, in particular the Pontifical Vespers celebrated by Cardinal Nichols. In recent year we have had strong relations with the Dominicans and rejoice in the health and vigour of the English Dominican province.

» Today Fr Abbot, accompanied by Fr Gabriel, will travel to St Mary's School at Ascot to confer the sacrament of Confirmation on over 50 girls.
