Douai Abbey: The Monastery of St Edmund, King & Martyr
Published by HSK in News · 31 January 2016
To coincide with the formal end on Candlemas of the Church's Year of Consecrated Life, the English Benedictine Congregation has released a video that explains something of the character and tradition of the EBC, and how it lives out the Benedictine vocation today. The video is on the home page of the Douai Abbey website. If you would like to see it in full screen mode you will need to click the "vimeo" label and the bottom left of the video, which will take you to the home of the video at Vimeo's website.

Douai does not feature much in the video. We hope to have a video of our own available to view here some time this year. In the meantime the EBC video affords an insight into the monastic context in which Douai, the third oldest community of the EBC, is firmly situated.
