Douai Abbey: The Monastery of St Edmund, King & Martyr

» It is now confirmed that the Funeral Mass for Fr Terence will be held at 2.30pm on Tuesday, 13 October in the abbey church, after which he will be buried in the monastic cemetery. There will be tea in the guest refectory after the burial. Fr Terence's body will be received into the abbey church at 5.30pm the day before (Monday, 12 October).

» This week a large contingent of the clergy of Portsmouth diocese, with Bishop Philip Egan and retired Bishop Francis Walmsley, are at Douai on retreat. The retreat is being led by Mgr John Armitage, the Rector of the Shrine of Our Lady at Walsingham.
