» On Monday the community spent the morning in another round of the the twice-yearly church clean, when we give the abbey church a good spit-and-polish spruce up.

» Yesterday Fr Abbot went to Oulton Abbey in Staffordshire for a meeting if its trustees, returning to Douai by way of Colwich Abbey.

» The sad demise of the music label Lammas has seen about 300 copies of The Sounds of Bach find a resting place at Douai. Playing the Tickell organ in our abbey church, the noted organist Terence Charlston plays 70 lovely minutes of Bach. You can see the playlist here.
