| March 2005: a lot of work is being done in the woods, following the winter storms when a number of trees were blown down. Many of these are being cut up and removed, though some are left to provide habitats for insects and small animals. |

| Some trees are being copiced, these are then protected with hurdles to prevent deer from destroying the new growth. |
| New paths are being made through eight acre gulley to extend the area available for walking. |

| A new bridge across the stream. | New steps at the west end which provide a new access point to the woods. |
