Development of the Former School Buildings



On January 17 2005 the contract was completed, selling the lease of the
former school buildings to Bewley Homes, who are going to develope the site for homes.
The picture shows Fr Abbot and Fr Peter Bowe, the bursar with the directors of
Bewley Homes plc at the signing of the contract.

The first work to be done was the widening and realigning of the road to give safer access to the site entrance.
This entailed using land at the north end of the park, removing trees and demolishing the tennis pavilion.
