The road works


With the building development going on, it has been necessary for reasons of safety to realign the road junction.
February 27
The new beds ready for seeding outside the tower entrance and the cottages opposite are now ready.		 beds beds

The new course of the road can be clearly seen now; it has been moved away from immediately outside the old school front door, and from the garden gates of the cottages opposite.

Work has begun on cutting down the trees at the north end of the Park in order to widen the road junction at the former school entrance. The tennis pavilion will have to be demolished as it has asbestos roof tiles.		 roadworks
