S.C. 117. This will be a practical workshop to help those who wish to acquire greater knowledge and skill in singing chant or who wish to introduce plainchant into their parishes.

The day will include the celebration of the Eucharist with the monastic community, and will consist of inspiring stories, prayer, reflection time and practical information.

Dr Nancy Reeves, from Canada, is a clinical psychologist, spiritual director, author and poet. She has presented a number of events at Douai and her books are available in Douai Abbey bookshop.

Lunch will be provided.

Event 9210. Cost £30, to be paid when booking, reductions for those on low income. Bookings close September 18.
