The Douai Society

The Douai Society is the association which helps to keep Old Dowegians in touch with each other and supports the Abbey and School.

It holds meetings at Douai, including an annual dinner.

Members also meet in London on the first Friday of every month at the Irish Club, 82 Eaton Square, with a typical attendance of 20-30 Old Dowegians. The beer is no doubt considerably cheaper than in most Central London bars. The Club is at the junction of Eaton Square and Lyall Street on the north side of the Square, about 10 minutes walk from Victoria or Sloane Square stations.

The Society runs regular Rugby and Cricket teams, but needs more support from younger members. Please get in touch!
