August 25
Today the pouring of concrete into the foundations of the new
cloister link from the abbey church to the monastery cloister
began. Picture on the left shows the pipe from the lorry
(blue bottom right) in position, and picture on the right
shows the concrete in position at the end of the day.
August 31
A crane arrived today to lift the girders
for the frame of the monastic refectory.
September 4

The metal columns for the new
cloister have been erected today.
