Monastery Building Development

2 Demolition of the temporary link passage

June 20
At the end of Mass today we discovered the builders had started to demolish the link section between the monastery and the Conference Centre.
We now have to go through the garden to reach the church, refectory or conference centre from the monastery.
The link was built to connect temporarily the 1966 monastery building with the 1925 building. Here are two views of the work in progress.
