The reception area is being transformed.The picture on the left shows where the new entrance to the guest house and guest refectory is being constructed, that on the right where the old clositer has been cut off from the school development. The wooden partition is there temporalily until a wall is built.

The monastic refectory is now empty, waiting for the floor to be laid, and the guest refectory is being used by monks and guests on retreat.

New enclosure doors have been installed beyond the entrance to the guest refectory from the clositer, the cloister leading to the church is being paved, and the clositer leading to the monastic refectory has been opened up but is not yet usable.

Outside the south court is being cleared.

The statue of St Benedict,
carved by Fr Aloysius Bloor OSB
which used to be in the gable of the theatre
has been remounted in the courtyard
outside the monastic refectory.

The new entrance cloister leading to the guestrefectory and the new wing of the guesthouse from the reception.
The staircase leading down from the new guest house wing.
The ground floor link from the monastery to the new refectory is in place but not yet in use.
The first floor link between the guesthouse and the monastery is now in place also.

The kitchen delivery road is now in use,
and the wall is being built where
the monastery used to
connect with the school buildings.
