As proposed at the Oblate Directors meeting there will be two retreats given by Mgr
Richard Moth, oblate of Pluscarden Abbey,
which will be open to oblates from all
communties:
Monday - Wednesday Decemer 1 - 3, 2008 & Friday - Sunday
December 12 - 14, 2008.
Now fully booked.
LOCAL CHAPTERS
The Julian Chapter meets on the second Thursday of each month
at Costessey Church Hall, Norfolk. Next meeting Oxctober 9 at 14.00.

Next meeting of the Wulfstan Chapter will be at Studley, Warwickshire on Fri Sept 12 at 18.00,
beginning with Vespers.

Future meetings of the Faringdon Chapter will be at Douai
Abbey at 19.30 on Mondays October 6, November 3, December 8.
During the next few meetings
St Benedict's Toolbox by Jane Tomaine will be used.
Participants will prepare a section before
each meeting, so that it can be used for discussion and prayer.
At the next meeting, Oct 6, we will cover chapter 2
Lectio Divina.

A London Chapter is to be formed, a suggested patron being St Erconwald, Benedictine abbot of
Chertsey and bishop of London. The first meetings will be on Tuesdays October 21 & December 9 at 18.00. Contact Simon
