Douai Abbey: The Monastery of St Edmund, King & Martyr
Published by HSK in News · 26 April 2016
On Sunday, 24 April, Fr Godric was formally installed as an honorary ecumenical canon of Worcester Cathedral. Fr Godric was one of three ecumenical canons installed that day by the Anglican Bishop of Worcester, Dr John Inge, assisted by the Dean of the cathedral, Peter Atkinson. A large number of family and friends came to uspport him on the day, as well as Frs Abbot, Boniface and Oliver, aong with Abbot Stuart of the Anglican Benedictines at nearby Mucknell, who is also a canon of the cathedral. We all earnestly hope that Fr Godric will prove to be a canon never to be fired.
