Welcome to a Tour
of
DOUAI ABBEY CHURCH

The Church is at the centre of the monastic community's life. The monks worship together there five times a day. It is also used by local people and pupils of the school who wish to share in the monastic liturgy. The Church is the highest building and is visible from all parts of the campus.

The foundation stone was laid in 1928 by Abbot Edmund Kelly.

The first part of the church was opened on June 20, 1933.
